Planted Memories

Planted Memories is the project I contributed to the photo exhibition "COLLECTIVE" organized by the Viewfinders Photography Club of Brussels, along with 37 other photographers.

This series is a selection of photos of the plants that always filled the home where I grew up, lovingly cared for by my mother. Each photo showcases the intricate details of each unique plant, highlighting their natural beauty and the care and attention that my mother bestowed upon them. Taking care of her plants was more than just a hobby - it was her space. It was a place where she could find peace, comfort, and a sense of fulfillment.

The collection pays homage to her life and her dedication to her potted garden while also celebrating the beauty and complexity of nature.
